How it works

Your broker.
Your money.
Our software.

Samurex AI is software that plugs into a brokerage account you already own and control. This page sets out exactly what that connection can do, what it cannot do, and why your balance never passes through us at any point.

01 · Custody

We never take custody of anything.

Your money sits in an account in your own name, at the brokerage you chose, before we arrive and after we leave. Nothing is pooled, nothing is transferred to us, and there is no Samurex AI wallet, treasury or client account anywhere in the arrangement.

What we hold is a set of trade-only credentials. They let the software open and close positions in your account. That is the entire permission surface. A withdrawal is not something we decline to do — it is something the connection is technically incapable of.

You can watch every position appear in your own broker dashboard as it happens, and you can revoke our access from inside your broker at any moment, without asking us and without notice.

We take no commission, rebate or introducing-broker fee from your brokerage. Your relationship with them is yours alone.

02 · Brokers

Any broker. No leverage required.

You pick the brokerage; the software adapts. Every Samurex AI engine runs on accounts from zero leverage upwards, because the strategies were written to be capital-efficient rather than margin-dependent. If you would rather trade entirely unleveraged — for risk reasons, regulatory reasons, or simply because you sleep better — that is fully supported and always has been.

We do have a preference, and it is about your safety rather than ours: brokers regulated in the country you actually live in. Since your money sits with the broker and never with us, their regulatory standing is the single most consequential choice in the whole setup. During onboarding we will check yours, or help you draw up a shortlist that fits your jurisdiction.

03 · Execution

Wired to the broker directly.

The platform connects to brokers through their own APIs. There is no copy-trading service in the middle, no signal relay, and no third party deciding when your order is passed along. The engines themselves run on low-latency servers positioned close to broker infrastructure, so when a setup triggers the order reaches the broker in milliseconds rather than seconds.

If your broker is not one we have integrated yet, that is a job rather than an obstacle. Because the integration happens at API level, we build the connection to whichever broker you want. You should never have to move your money to suit our software.

What we cannot promise is what happens after the order arrives. Fill quality, spread and slippage belong to your broker, which is one more reason we spend onboarding time on that choice.

Algorithmic trading adds technology risk on top of market risk: connectivity, feeds and platforms can all fail. Read the Risk Disclosure before you begin.

The first week

What actually happens, in order.

No part of getting started is self-service. Here is the sequence, with the honest timings rather than the marketing ones.

  1. 1

    The walkthrough call.

Half an hour, one adviser, no slides. You get the audit links, the drawdown history, and a straight answer on which engines fit the balance you actually have. Plenty of people take the links away and come back weeks later, which is fine.

    Day one · ~30 min
  2. 2

    The broker setup.

You open or nominate the account, in your own name. We confirm the platform, check the instrument set, and you issue trade-only credentials. If we have not integrated your broker yet this is where we build it, which is usually a few days.

    Days one to three
  3. 3

    The engine goes live.

Sizing is set against your balance and the risk settings you agreed, and the engine starts on the next session it is designed to trade. From then on you watch it from two independent places, and you can stop it from either.

How to switch it all off.

Worth knowing before you start rather than after. There are three ways to stop, and none of them require our cooperation:

  • Revoke the credentials at your broker. The connection dies immediately. Any position already open stays open and remains yours to manage.
  • Ask us to stand the engine down. It stops taking new positions and closes what it holds in an orderly way rather than at market in one go.
  • Close the positions yourself. It is your account. You never need our permission, or our software, to trade in it.

Cancelling a subscription and disconnecting an engine are separate actions. Do both if you are leaving; the billing terms are set out in the Terms of Service.

Software on your side. Money in your hands.
